Kartiki Gonsalves is a director and photojournalist who has directed a number of documentaries throughout the course of his career. She was awarded the Academy Award for Best Documentary Film for her work on the Netflix film The Elephant Whisperers. She is a member of the International League of Conservation Photographers and has the position of Associate Fellow there. Kartiki rose to prominence with the release of her nature documentary in Tamil titled “The Elephant Whisperers,” which is available to watch on Netflix right now.
