A Nigerian man has taken to social media to complain about the penchant Nigerians have for being more interested in tragic events that blissful ones.

The father known as Oláyinka Owólewa said that when his baby was born, the number of family and friends that either calld or visited him were few.

However, when the child sadly six months later those that showed up for the burial were much more than the earlier number.

Olayinka expressed disappointment in this character flaw which he believes many Nigerians possess.

He shared the story on Twitter while reacting to another similar tweet by @Omojuwa which read; “Banky W appears to have gotten more support since he lost the election than he did when he was running.”

Olayinka quoted the post and wrote; “That is what Nigerians do to you. Some 2yrs ago, when me and my wife had a new baby, the people that called me or visited me when the baby died after 6 months were much more than those that congratulated me when the baby arrived.”
