Islamiyat Oyefusi is a Nigerian politician who is now running as the Labour Party’s candidate for the position of Deputy Governor of Lagos state (LP).
She is the daughter of the late Oba Salaudeen Afolabi Oyefusi, who ruled the Ikorodu Kingdom in the past.
Once a senate candidate for the People’s Democratic Party in 2015, Islamiyat Oyefusi is currently a member of the party. In 2022, she made public her intention to withdraw her membership in the Party.
