A group of school children chose to spend school hours doing some manual labour in a remote area in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.
They were spotted working at a construction site on Owerri, the Imo state capital. A resident who observed the kids while he was walking on a lonely path, recorded them.
The children numbering five, were still wearing one half of their school uniform – which is the shorts, while their tops were either replaced with a mufti, singlet or bare chest.
In the video, the man who filmed them could be heard questioning them about why they are not in school, but they just chose to continue carrying the blocks and dropping them at a spot.
