Pasuma’s mother, Alhaja Sikiratu Sindodo, is a well-known figure in the Nigerian music industry. She was born on October 15, 1925, in Lagos, Nigeria. Alhaja Sikiratu Sindodo is also referred to as “Iya Aladuke” by her fans and admirers, and she is renowned for her contributions to the growth of the Fuji music genre in Nigeria.

Alhaja Sikiratu Sindodo was married to Ibrahim Adewale Owolabi, also known as “Oganla 1”, who was a renowned Fuji musician in his own right. Pasuma, whose real name is Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, is the couple’s first child and was born on November 27, 1967.

Despite being the wife of a famous musician, Alhaja Sikiratu Sindodo was also an accomplished singer and dancer in her own right.
