Jacinda Ardern, born on July 26, 1980, is a New Zealand politician and the 40th and current Prime Minister of New Zealand. She is also the leader of the New Zealand Labour Party and has been in office since 2017. Jacinda Ardern was born in Hamilton, New Zealand, and grew up in Morrinsville and Murupara. Her father was a police officer, and her mother worked as a school catering assistant. In 2017, Jacinda Ardern became the leader of the New Zealand Labour Party and was elected as the Prime Minister of New Zealand in a coalition government. At the age of 37, Ardern became the youngest female head of government in the world.

She has implemented policies such as paid parental leave, increasing the minimum wage, and introducing a zero-carbon bill to address climate change.
